Heather Hutchings, D.O., is a board-certified physician specializing in wound care and limb preservation at Limb Preservation Center of East Tennessee. Dr. Hutchings opened our Lenoir City, Tennessee, clinic after helping build wound care programs in two different hospital systems. She’s spent the last 13 years practicing wound and hyperbaric medicine and looks forward to a future of helping our patients heal optimally.
Dr. Hutchings earned her medical degree at the University of Pikeville – Kentucky College of Osteopathic Medicine in Pikeville, Kentucky. She’s been in practice for more than two decades. At Limb Preservation Center of East Tennessee, Dr. Hutchings treats radiation burns, diabetic ulcers, surgical wounds, and other types of non-healing or chronic wounds. She uses the most advanced strategies, such as hyperbaric oxygen therapy and wound debridement. Additionally, she provides expert and empathetic amputation care to prevent complications and help patients get back to enjoying life as quickly and compassionately as possible.
